Multi-Media Consulting, Inc., incorporated in 2001 and is a full service media systems design and consulting firm servicing the architectural and contracting communities. MMC Inc. specializes in coordinating with the architect, the owner and the rest of the design team during the design process to achieve the best possible system for media communications. We provide a full range of services relating to the audiovisual systems industry and have a broad base of projects from which our experience is drawn.
We approach every project from the perspective of service and teamwork. As media systems are becoming a part of every facility and more is expected from them, our goal is to do our part as a member of the design team by making the owner proud of its new facility during the final walk-through. We accomplish this through experience in our field, coordination and corporation with the other design team members.
We specialize in contract documentation completeness, organization and clarity. Our method of contract documentation is world-class. We use AutoCAD 2005 to generate all of our drawings. We use wide bandwidth Internet connections to trade documentation with other members of the design team. Our architectural backgrounds directly parallel the architects' backgrounds. We coordinate the location of every device and include a detail that, along with the specifications, demonstrates to the contractor exactly what we expect. Our specification has been through many reviews by our colleagues -- who range from multiple disciplines and perspectives -- and continues to be a dynamic document. Mr. Wells, the principal of our firm, actively engages in teaching these methods to others through our national trade organizations.
All projects are managed with a proactive approach. Project timelines are actively tracked to ensure that the proper set of contract documents are released at the appropriate time.
We have successfully used these methods to design large performing arts facilities like the one currently under construction at the University of Notre Dame. The Notre Dame facility is a six venue performing arts facility that includes a concert hall, main stage theater, organ recital hall, black box theater, THX standard cinema, post production suite, several multi-media classrooms and complete front-of-house and backstage produc tion support.
